TheAnglr is a project blending my two biggest passions (outside of the family of course.) Angling & Photography. I've always shied away from bringing my camera fishing as I didn't want to bring work into my chill time, but I'm changing that this year and exploring what makes 'The Angler' tick.
I'm sure old hats like me out there that have fished for decades have seen a massive change in our pastime. It's now a huge industry and it doesn't always feel like it should when I'm on the bank, I'm coming up against animosity and jealousy all the time and I want to buck that trend and show what fishing is REALLY all about. Having fun, relaxing, absorbing nature and catching wonderful fish.
My ultimate goal is to follow fellow anglers around with a lens and capture some wonderful images from around the country. I'm planning on documenting my journey on YouTube and Instagram whilst sharing my knowledge to help everyone get great shots whilst their fishing.
All the galleries will be available on this site to view in the way I intended them to be seen, not compressed to all hell like social media sites tend to do.
